Yes. The Pro-Spar is made from full grain leather, not synthetic or PU. That is the main reason it sits above entry-level gloves in both price and durability.
What weight should I use for sparring?
As a general guide: under 65kg use 14oz (check with your coach), 65 to 85kg use 16oz, and over 85kg use 16oz as a minimum. Many gyms require 16oz for sparring regardless of bodyweight, so check your gym's rules first.
