How do I choose the right size?
Measure around your dominant hand at the knuckles, excluding the thumb. Small fits smaller hands, Medium suits most adult male hands, and Large is for bigger hands. Hand wraps underneath are recommended, so allow a little room.
Are these suitable for pad work?
These are designed for bag and speed ball work, not pads. The padding is compact rather than shock-absorbing, so they won't protect your hands or your coach's pads the way a proper bag glove or training glove will.
How long do leather bag mitts last?
With regular hand wraps and air drying after each session, full grain leather mitts can last years of consistent training. Sweat is the main killer, so wrap your hands every time and let them dry out between sessions.
