Which Hit N Move Headguard Do You Need?

The right choice depends on how you spar. Face Saver for hard sessions where facial protection comes first. Air Armor for technical work where vision and movement come first.

Air Armor Precision Technical sparring, pad work Ultra-light micro-padded zones Amateur competition, heavy sparring

How Hit N Move Headgear Is Built

Micro-Padded Protection

Hit N Move headgear uses micro-padded impact zones instead of traditional bulk foam. The padding is concentrated at the temple, brow and cheek areas where strikes land most often. The result is a lighter shell that sits closer to the head without the visual obstruction of thicker designs.

Full-Face vs Minimal Profile

The Face Saver adds a bar across the nose and central face. It is designed for sessions where your sparring partner throws with intent and facial protection is non-negotiable. The Air Armor removes that bar entirely, leaving an open-face, low-coverage shell for fighters who train around the shot rather than absorb it.

Choosing the Right Size

Both models are available in S/M and L/XL. Measure around the widest part of your head above the brows. The fit should feel snug and stable during movement. A headguard that shifts during exchanges leaves you exposed.

If you sit on the boundary between sizes, go smaller. Hit N Move headgear is designed to sit close to the skull. A loose fit defeats the purpose of the low-profile design.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Face Saver provides full facial coverage with a bar protecting the nose and cheekbones, built for hard sparring. The Air Armor Precision is an ultra-lightweight, low-profile design built for technical work where visibility and head movement are the priority.
No. Neither model is approved for amateur competition. Face saver designs are not permitted under England Boxing or World Boxing rules, and the Air Armor does not meet competition headgear regulations. Always check with your governing body.
Measure around the widest part of your head above the brows. Both models are available in S/M and L/XL. The Air Armor uses approximately 22.5 inches as the size break. If you sit exactly on the boundary, choose the smaller size for a snug fit.
