Foam and quilted horsehair form the padding in this professional fight model.
Leather Lamination:
Low-density polyurethane foam is laminated to the leather. Rival describes this as giving a soft, broken-in feel.
15-Degree Angled Lace Track:
Rival's angled lace track forms part of the lace-up fastening.
Premium Full Grain Leather:
Handcrafted leather construction holds its shape through fight camp and contest use.
Lace-Up Closure:
Laces let your corner adjust the fastening around your hand and wrist. You need help to lace them securely.
Contest Weights:
Available in 8oz and 10oz. Your bout's rules determine the required weight; the promoter supplies the contest gloves.
Product questions
What is the difference between the SF-H and HDE-F padding systems?
HDE-F uses layered foam with high-density EVA lamination. SF-H combines foam and quilted horsehair. These are two professional fight-glove constructions. Choose with your coach and promoter according to fit, preference and the requirements of the bout. Neither version is a sparring glove.
Can I use these gloves for sparring?
No. These are professional fight gloves. Neither the 8oz nor the 10oz option is suitable for adult sparring. Choose a dedicated sparring model in the weight required by your coach or gym.
Are these gloves approved for professional boxing?
These are professional fight gloves. For a UK professional bout, the promoter supplies the gloves and the model must be accepted for that contest. Confirm the arrangements with your promoter. Buying this pair does not guarantee that you can use it in your bout.
