The RB5 is sized from S to XL rather than by ounce weight. Use the size chart to check your hand fit.
Leather Construction:
The RB5 has a leather outer shell for bag and pad work.
Ultra Thin EVA Padding (Ergo Lite System):
Rival's Ergo Lite System uses ultra-thin EVA foam to protect the knuckles while keeping the glove as close to the hand as possible, giving you a near bare-fist feel on the bag.
Hook and Loop Closure:
Quick on, quick off between rounds, with enough tension to keep the glove locked down during work.
Built for Bags and Pads:
Use the RB5 for bag and punch-mitt work only. Never use these mitts for sparring or hitting another person.

Product questions
How do I choose the right size for bag mitts?
Bag mitts are sized by hand size rather than ounce weight. Measure around your knuckles and compare with the size chart. If you fall between sizes, ask us for help checking the fit with your usual hand wraps.
Can I use bag mitts for pad work?
Yes. Rival specifies the RB5 for bag and punch-mitt work. Never use these mitts for sparring or hitting another person.
Are these suitable for beginners?
The RB5 is a thinly padded mitt for bag and pad work. If you are new to boxing, ask your coach whether it suits your technique and hand condition before choosing it. It must never be used for sparring. Use a separate sparring glove in the weight your coach or gym requires.
