Product questions
What does BBBofC approved mean?
It means the glove has been tested and approved by the British Boxing Board of Control for use in professional boxing contests in the UK. Without this approval, a glove cannot be worn in a sanctioned pro fight.
What weight do professional boxers use?
Professional contest weights are fixed by the governing body. Boxers up to welterweight typically wear 8oz, and weights above that wear 10oz. The 10oz XL is for boxers with larger hands who need more room in the same contest weight.
What is Speed Tilt Technology?
It is Adidas's foam padding system. The padding is angled to match the natural position of the fist at impact, rather than sitting flat across the knuckles. The result is a more direct transfer of force when you land a punch.
