Gloves are provided ringside by the promoter — professional boxers do not bring their own gloves to a fight. Owning the Adistar 3.0 means training in the same glove used at licensed professional shows.
What weight do I need — 8oz or 10oz? +
Professional boxing uses 8oz for lighter weight classes and 10oz for heavier divisions. The specific weight required for a bout is set by the sanctioning body and agreed between both camps. Your trainer or promoter will confirm which weight applies to your contest.
Can I use these gloves for training or bag work? +
These are professional fight gloves and are not recommended for training or bag workouts. The one-piece injection mould and fight-spec construction are optimised for bout performance, not repeated bag rounds. For training, Adidas produces dedicated training gloves in the Speed Tilt and Tilt ranges.
