Boxing Training Wear

Every session demands kit that works as hard as you do. Boxing training wear is built to handle the sweat, movement and intensity of daily gym work without restricting your footwork in your boxing boots or upper body rotation.

From lightweight vests for pad sessions to heavyweight hoodies for warm-ups, the right training clothing keeps you comfortable and focused from the first bell to the last.

Performance fabrics are standard across our training range. Moisture-wicking polyester blends pull sweat away from the skin, mesh panels improve airflow in high-heat zones, and flatlock seams eliminate chafing during long sessions. Whether you are drilling combinations on the pads or grinding through conditioning circuits, your clothing should never be the thing that slows you down.

Boxing Shorts and Trunks

Boxing shorts are the centrepiece of any fighter's kit. Training shorts need a generous leg cut for unrestricted movement through pivots, slips and lateral footwork, while competition trunks must meet sanctioning body regulations on length and fit. Satin remains the classic choice for ringwear, delivering a clean, professional look under the lights. For daily training, durable polyester blends handle repeated washing and heavy use without losing shape. Browse our full range of boxing shorts to find the right pair for your training and competition needs.

Vests and T-Shirts

A quality boxing vest keeps you cool during intense rounds without restricting your arm movement. Racerback and standard cuts both have their place — racerbacks offer maximum shoulder freedom for bag work and sparring, while classic fits suit general gym sessions and casual wear. Our boxing vests are built from breathable, quick-drying fabrics that handle the demands of a full training camp.

For fighters who prefer more coverage, boxing t-shirts offer the same performance fabrics in a fuller cut. Ideal for running, strength work and cooler gym environments where a vest alone does not cut it.

Hoodies and Warm-Up Layers

Warming up properly is non-negotiable, and a good boxing hoodie is your first line of defence against cold muscles and slow starts. Heavyweight options trap heat for pre-session warm-ups and weight management, while lighter zip-through designs let you regulate temperature as your body comes up to speed. Our boxing hoodies are designed for fighters — longer cuts that stay tucked during shadow work, ribbed cuffs that sit tight, and hoods that stay put when you move.

Sauna Suits and Weight Management

When it is time to cut weight or push your conditioning to the limit, a sauna suit accelerates sweat production and raises your core temperature during low-to-moderate intensity sessions. Our range includes full suits and separates in heat-trapping PVC and nylon constructions. Used responsibly alongside proper hydration, sauna suits are a proven tool in any fighter's weight management routine.

Choosing the Right Boxing Clothing

Your kit should match the demands of each session. Lightweight, breathable pieces suit fast-paced technical work and sparring, while heavier layers handle warm-ups, cooldowns and conditioning blocks.

Competition ringwear needs to meet sanctioning body regulations on colour, fit and branding, so always check the rules before fight night, and ensure your boxing protective gear is also compliant

Building a rotation of training wear extends the life of each piece and means you always step into the gym in fresh, high-performance gear. Invest in quality construction — reinforced stitching, durable fabrics and secure closures — and your boxing clothing will hold up through months of hard training.

Boxing Clothing FAQ

For gym sessions you need boxing shorts or joggers, a breathable vest or t-shirt, and a hoodie for warming up. Most gyms have no strict dress code for training, but lightweight, moisture-wicking fabrics will keep you comfortable through pad work, bag rounds and sparring.

In competition, boxers wear approved boxing shorts, a groin guard, boxing boots, and a vest for female competitors. Amateur bouts under World Boxing rules have specific kit requirements including colour-coded corners, so always check with your club before fight night.

Boxing shorts should sit comfortably at the waist without restricting leg movement. Most brands size by waist measurement rather than general clothing size. If you fall between sizes, go up — you need full range of motion for footwork and pivoting.

Sauna suits can help with short-term water weight reduction when used responsibly. Never train at high intensity in a sauna suit without proper hydration, and avoid prolonged use. They are a tool for gradual sweat sessions, not a substitute for proper nutrition and weight management.

Most boxers wear compression shorts or briefs underneath for support and comfort. In competition, a groin guard is worn underneath and the shorts must fit over it without restricting movement.

Normal gym kit works fine for casual training. However, boxing-specific clothing is designed with wider leg openings for footwork, reinforced stitching for durability, and moisture-wicking fabrics that handle heavy sweat sessions better than standard gym wear.
